First and foremost – Happy New Year! I am so excited for a fresh start for our family and I’m massively looking forward to year without horrendous morning sickness and multiple trips to the hospital. My New Years resolution is to not see the hospital… seriously. 2012 wasn’t the best year BUT it certainly wasn’t the worse, and we got our beautiful Georgie.
In January I was massively fed up with the pile of negative pregnancy tests we’d accumulated since the previous August so I put all my energy in to making the most of my time with our gorgeous Frankie and finding my feet in our new home.
By the time February came round I was completely frustrated, I knew I should of been enjoying time with our family of 3 but all I could think about was getting pregnant again… consequently I blogged about absolutely nothing of interest! I did try to cheer myself up by reminding myself of a time before money worries and grown-up problems!
For the sake of our sanity we took a break from trying to get pregnant in March and this seemed to massively chill me out. No pressure was lovely! I wrote about the small stuff that makes me happy and I contributed to Cafe Bebe’s ‘Love You Forever‘ project.
Only me and Dean knew but in April we found out we were finally pregnant again! We decided to keep it a secret and Dean spent the month on a huge house project.
In May I got to tell everyone our exciting news and I headed to Cybher! We also took Frankie for her first proper zoo visit and I took my favorite ever photo of her!
June saw me turn 24 and see Coldplay. I also attended BritMum’s and we spent a week on holiday. It was also the start of the extreme morning sickness that consequently took over my pregnancy.
In July we found out we were expecting another girl and I looked back at my labour with Francesca.
In August I faced my worries about becoming a Mum to two head on. It was the hardest thing I ever wrote but I’m so glad I did, it was amazing to hear people say ‘it’s okay to not enjoy this bit’.
I’d say that September was the hardest month for me with this pregnancy… I pretty much dissapered but I did do a 26 week update when I needed a little rant about the amount of appointments I seemed to be having!
During October I wrote about just how hard I was finding things and why my pregnancy hadn’t been written about as much as everyone thought it might. Once again I had a brilliant response that really boosted me. We made the most of just being 3 and had some lovely walks, and we finally finished decorating our bedroom!
In November we got ready for baby#2… good job as she decided to arrive 2 weeks early on November 29th – welcoming Georgiana in to the world was by far the best bit of 2012!
December saw Frankie turn two! But sadly this month was over shadowed by Georgie being admitted to hospital for 10 days with Bronchiolitis and mild Pneumonia… thankfully she made a beautiful recovery and we were home for Christmas!

I’ve really enjoyed reading these round ups. I wish I’d done one. Btw I LOVE the colour of your bedroom wall.
