My Week That Was

This week I’ve joined in with Mummy, Daddy and Me‘s linky ‘My Week That Was’

On Monday me and Frankie were meant to be going to the Safari Park with my friend and her little boy but we realised it was closed for the day. Instead the 4 of us went for a lovely long walk around the local lake, had a yummy lunch and topped the day off with a trip to soft play.

On Tuesday I lost the house keys (temporarily) so we spent the day reading some new books and watching Finding Nemo. My Mum popped round for a cup of tea in the afternoon and it was generally a relaxing day.

On Wednesday we headed to the library for Rhyme Time, it was miserable weather outside so only 4 other little ones were there but Francesca enjoyed trying to steal some books and enjoyed being coo’d over because she was the only girl!

On Thursday Frankie spent the afternoon with my Mum and I finished sorting out the last of our Christmas presents. I went over to my friend’s house in the evening and had a few glasses of wine while we watched a film.

On Friday we had our first trip to our local baby group. It was great to get out and about around our new home and meet some other Mums. Frankie had a lovely morning and was exhausted by the afternoon.

On Saturday I had a look through Frankie’s wardrobe and realised she’d grown out of alot so we took a trip to Next. She got very spoilt and we topped the morning off with lunch at Gourmet Burger Kitchen.

On Sunday I gave the blog a bit of a makeover, Dean watched the football and Frankie did some drawing while watching Tangled. Very relaxing!
